Mather drove David Taylor's P153-04 in 1973 and early 1974 with an old 2-valve BRM V12 in it. I don't think this BRM ever had a Ford V8 in it but it went from Taylor to Bobby Bell and I know Bell's previous BRM (a P83) had a Ford V8 in it. That's probably where the Ford confusion comes from.
