It was an unpleasant wet morning for practice but thankfully, brighter and dryer for afternoon's racing. I've cobbled a few pictures together from yesterday's excellent meeting, starting with Brian Ashby's rare (unique even?) Emeryson F1:-
The usual crowded pre scrutineering scene:-
Simon Benoy's Sunbeam Imp exiting the Hairpin, during practice:-
How Jamie Boot managed to put the his V8 TVR Griffith on pole ahead of a number of sports racing cars, in the wet, only he knows!
Fellow front row man, Simon Hadfield, however, made no mistake in the race and ran away and hid on a drying track in the Elva Mk8. Jamie still came an excellent 3rd beaten also by Philip Nelson's well driven Marcos 1600GT.
A few more pics to follow!
