I also remember some kind of suspension problems. I believe the entire rear end from the 911 GT1 (engine, rear suspension, gearbox..) was transfered to the LMP-1, so it wasn´t completely synchronised with the old front one.
I guess one of them ran 4th or 5th overall before retiring
