Got the gearbox back today from MB Engineering. A quick spray with satin black and it can all go back together, add oil and I'm almost ready for the first practice day in the end of March...
The road going 911 box is another story....
Seems to be a bit of a stir over Skoda bodied on another hillclimb forum, especially the body on John Meredith's hillclimb special.
There is of course the white Graham Hickman body for sale but so ugly and not even recognisable as a Skoda.
And the Davrian I fancy has come up for sale....mine only if I sell the Lola.
As if I'd think of such a thing.
for Xmas I've decided to write the full detailed story of finding the chassis number on the Lola before I forget it all.
Will have to be proof-read by Clive.
