I know I am in a minority, but I love Silverstone. The facilities are far better than at Brands Hatch, the atmosphere great and a much nicer place for a family day out.
Brands can be a self important supercilious place, with the natural rudeness that comes from being near the capitol.
I go to a lot of circuits, Rockingham, Silverstone, Brands, Thruxton, Snetterton, Donington...
The rudest and unfriendliest spectators seem to be found at Brands (IMO)
