Chris Townsend should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Robert, welcome!
I'd be very interested in the confirmation of this. I have McGrath's B15 as chassis 17, delivered in Aug/Sept 69. This comes from an ex Chevron employee and his data is reliable. I believe it was sold to Geoff Bremner in 1970.
If it was converted from a B9 there weren't many it could have come from as most had a life in 69-70. Maybe one of the Red Rose cars, only one of which I can trace in 1969, or the mysterious Henry McLoughlin car which hardly raced in F3 but certainly existed.

However, looking at Chevrons single seaters across FB/FC and F3 in 1969 some [or one] of the B9s must have made it to the USA because there don't seem to be enough B14s and 15Bs to explain them. I might try and chart this next week and see what explanations people can offer, as there weren't that many Chevron single seaters around in 1969 [9 B9s, most in Europe, 3 B14s, 14 B15s all in Europe, 7 B15Bs all in USA.
