Chevron B15B
I don't think this warrants a separate thread but let's see how it goes.
Six of these cars were built for Formula B in 1969 with Ford twin-cams plus one with a FVA for libre. Working through the 1969 FB results, I would speculate that the B15Bs were:
1. Dick Smothers (Hogan Motor Leasing Inc.) from Round 2 onwards
2. Steve Brownstein - from Elkhart Lake in July; identified as a B15B
3. Tom Gelb - from Elkhart Lake in July; quick so probably a B15B
4. Syd Demovsky - from Lime Rock in August; identified as a B15B
5. Jim Grob - from Mosport Park in August; identified as a B15B
So the sixth one might be one of these:
6. Peter Broeker - Canada only; said to be a B15B but was it a B9 upgraded?
7. Warren Flickinger - from R2 but this may be an older car or an uprated F3
8. Joe Grimaldi - from Lime Rock in August; not quick but maybe a B15B
Also Chevron mounted were Oliver Grant (identified as a B14) and Wayne Kelly.
