Chris Townsend should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Okay here's a new hypothesis of B14 and B15Bs

B14
1 [FB.68.8] 1968 Opert to Tom Tufts; 1969 Tom Gelb [who has invoice with FB.68.8 on it] wrecked Mosport, remains back to Opert. Perhaps rebuilt and the Tom Jones B14 in 1972
2 1968 to Peter Broeker, retained 1969 then probably to Bill Eagles 1971 who bought other Broeker cars later
3 1968 to Grimaldi, new at Lime Rock 21 August, perhaps loaned to Smothers late 1968 [or this might be the new B15B delivered early] and used by Carson Baird at ARRC probably Oliver Grant 1969; probably f/s CPAW 21.11.70 p. 35 '1968 Chevron updated to B15 specs HRE engine, 8 races since new] Springdell Racing Corp [Grimaldi's firm]

B15B

1 Opert late 1968 for Smothers, used throughout 1969 to Joe Alves 1970 f/s CPAW 22.9.70 p.31 4176 Rosario Road, Woodland Hills CA 91364,

2 Joe Grimaldi 1969 to Jon Hall for Sebring and retained early 1970 run by Opert; perhaps to Skip Walther who was entered by Opert at Elkhart Lake; however Walther car f.s CPAW 21.11.70 'only one race this year'!

3 Jim Grob retained to 1971

4 Maybe Syd Demovsky, retained early 1970 then to Larry Wright or Skip Walther

5 Hugh Kleinpeter, retained 1970

6 Maybe Steve Brownstein, retained 1970

7 Wisell, new at Sebring 1969; Doug Brenner 1970, to Bryon Hatten 1971 then maybe Doug Turner as FC

Problem car
f/s CPAW 21.11.70 p. 35 '1969 Chevron B15 specs rebuilt Vegantune, 6 races since new] Springdell Racing Corp [Grimaldi] which might be Hall's car coming back in
