Nice idea 'chunterer', but the car has NO previous Belga history I'm afraid, so I assume that Gary Midwinter simply copied the distinctive livery for his rally car as he liked it.
Marc Duez actually drove the Belga liveried Schmidt Motorsport MG Metro 6R4 in Europe, not Robert Droogmans. The latter drove a Belga liveried RS200 run by the RAS Sport team, so you were along the right lines 'ish'.
