Here I am! Quite safe to chuck it in the washing machine at low temp - 40 degrees. Use a detergent powder or liquid, not a soap based one (so not Persil, Fairy Snow etc). It doesn't do any harm, just creates a flammable deposit if it reacts with hard water.

Hang up to dry with shoulder and ankle supported so it doesn't deform due to weight of water.

You can also get some special anti stain stuff if badly soiled, but everyday dirt just washes out.

Above holds true for Proban and Nomex alike.
