V8 SuperTourers can confirm the support classes for the second round of the new series when it visits the fabulous Powerbuilt Raceway at Ruapuna over Easter weekend on April 7th and 8th.

Almost 40 cars of German origin will make up an exciting Rennsport field. Described as 'all things German' there is plenty of BMW machinery represented along with other classic and more modern machinery including cars from Porsche, as well as a Zakspeed escort and a VW TC Vento. There will be close to 40 cars on the grid.

Mainland Super Saloons is also on the bill – This field is formed with invited classes from OSCA, Sports Saloons and fast club cars that may include space frame chassis, engine choices such as rotaries and V8s. This field will also be pretty large, with more than 25 cars likely.

The third support act will be the South Island All Comers Saloons - with all being invited cars from Pre-65, Mini 7s, Pro 7s mixed in with a healthy variety of club cars that will also include Mustangs! Another huge grid here - with 35 cars likely!
