Anyway, here is the story of this car, as best as I know. Chassis #214 was built in 1992 by Bigazzi, and driven by Emanuelle Pirro for most of the 1992 DTM.At the end of 1992 it was sold to Logamo (Tony LOnghurst/Frank GArdner/Paul MOrris) and the spec. changed slightly to allow it to compete in the 1993 ATCC. (ABS removed, 330mm front brakes/4 pot cals, steel bonnet, glass side windows) It was driven by Paul Morris in the whole of the 1993 ATCC, then driven at Bathurst 1993 by Paul Morris and Joachim Winkelhock. Incidentally, Winkelhock set a qualifying time of 2.15.90, making it the fastest ever qually time for a BMW around Bathurst. In 1994 it was converted to a 2.0L car and sold to Mark Adderton and raced in the Australian Manufacturers championship (Supertourers) for the next couple of years. It last raced in 1998. I am restoring it back to 1992 DTM specification.
I have very few pictures of the car in 1993, however here is another.
