Sorry bluebottle, I couldn't resist. How about some of the Off Road clubs, or have a scan down the list of attendees at last years Bromley Pageant or Beaulieu Festival? There are plenty of WW2 vehicle clubs who may know, but I guess your friend is already a member of at least one. If not, why not?
The only parts I've had trouble with were RS wings for my trusty but rusty Mk1 Escort. Best price I found for old stock genuine panels was £225 each!
I still bought them though!
