I agree, but that happens every year. Hence my suggestion to opt for a less stringent schedule, which can cope with these normal delays.
I also agree with your rant about the people in the assembly area, but I think the Revival is also very much a social event, despite of the serious racing. It is all about finding a compromise between what the area can handle and what the people involved want. I am sure you had no problem letting Lady Susie into the assembly area and I did not see her wearing any armband at all...
