Actually it was me at the wheel when that happened. I had only got about 100 metres from the collection area and no amount of hard braking or pushing with my hand would get it down.

Tiff was charming but had a torrid weekend in the car. He was flying in the first few laps of qualifying on Friday and suddenly stopped out the back of the circuit. The guys couldn't figure out what had happened and gave the car a good check over but there was much head scratching. Then a significant amount of finger pointing and several red faces when they realised they had forgotten to put fuel in the car......

Then in the race he had a misfire and it wouldn't pull over 6,000.

A shame as I think he would have gone well.

Never mind, it went reasonably well for me!
