Situations change - it sounds like the primary goal of this project was to race in the ALMS. The ALMS won't be around for 2014, and as such they might be re-evaluating this project. Where did budget for this come from Porsche AG, or Porsche US? If it was partially funded by Porsche US, you can bet that money tree just wilted. Perhaps they'll modify their goal, or can the program... we shall find out.
