It's just meaningless PR talk for both directions... first they give F1/FIA some good publicity by saying that they would be very interested to come and play in the future if thing X changes but then a few days later they give ACO a helping hand by claiming that the endurance racing is the only true and relevant form of motorsports.

Then they repeat the whole cycle again in 6 months
