Well, we don't normally get track blockage there anymore. The old guys have done it before in CART/Champ and the new ones have played it on Need for Speed or one-a-them XBox thingies
. There is in fact quite a bit of space drivers left, and a cut in the barrier there, so the Safety Team can drag cars out of the line of fire if they need to. Might be interesting for the double-file restarts, though, as they usually ask them to form up right after the hairpin, and they start shifting around at T10.
Now the fountain is a whole nother issue. We don't get to use the crane nearly as often as we'd like!
