well, i'm a bit of a girl about hearing now, and at ricard on saturday i didn't feel it was necessary to stick my fingers in my ears.
there's no aggressive highs like there is in f1, the only things that get a little bit close to wanting ear protection for are some of the ferraris. everything else is quiet enough that hearing protection is more to give your ears a break from the constant noise rather than stop the high notes from hurting.
