Kiwi, you have to remember that he is trying to save the series..(and good on him) What he is saying has to be seen in the context of what is going on. If they cancel a round they need to have a reason, and saying they can not afford it is not going to help them attract investors. He also needs to try and get local spectators interested, to keep the circuits interested in having rounds held there.
