johnh875 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Ok, finally been moved to do some more on this thread. I'm still quite impressed at the collection of cars they brought together for the show months later. I'm also annoyed that I wasn't able to photograph so many of the cars - I'm used to using a camera with 2x2500mAh batteries so 1x800mAh is quite different...

This is a 1939 Wanderer W25K sports roadster, I presume there would not be too many of these around. It has a 2-litre 6-cyl supercharged engine with 85hp, designed by Ferdinand Porsche, and this car was at Pebble Peach for Audi's 100th anniversary celebrations in 2009

1936 Cord 810 Sportsman cabriolet. A well-known marque but rare and this was an excellent car, and has an interesting history being originally owned by George Putnam, husband of Amelia Earhart, and is painted 'Eleanor Blue' due to her friendship with Eleanor Roosevelt. It has been in Australia since 1991, and recently appeared in the Tom Hanks WWII tv series "The Pacific".

Finally a magnificent polished-alloy 1919 24hp Sunbeam, 4.5-litre 6-cyl. This car began life as a saloon in Sydney, but was dismantled in the 1950's and the original body and engine separated from the car. After a rescue in the 1870's a correct type replacement engine has been fitted together with the sports body (not to mention an exhaust free of any type of muffler).

As mentioned earlier I don't have a lot of photos from this event, but a few Bentleys if anyone is interested in more info or the history of the cars, some of the modern supercars & 1960's cars - see here.
