How many GTE cars are running regularly around the world 15-20, I bet there are 150-200 GT3's running in various places.
Not all GT3's are equal and far fewer are on the level of a top GTE program but crisis point is here. My prediction is death in two years or a collective reoganisation and push to get the class back on track.
Afterall does anyone in the sport really want to lose GTE altogether and move into the wild west that is GT3.
