The only Porsche eligible for GTD next year is the 991 America. So any of the existing ALMS GTC teams and additional teams will all have to buy the new car. The only 997 that is eligible to run is the RSR in GTLM. According to sources at Porsche Motorsport NA there will only be approx 15 Americas built for GTD next year!
