interesting to see driver wage demands reaching back to the levels of the early to mid 2000's. increased prize money and some control on costs plus an improving economy so its not surprising and in this case Alonso is arguably the class of the field...if anyone deserves that kind of money its him.

Ferrari can afford that but can Mclaren?
