And how is this going to mesh with ACO and the 24 hours. At least one of the classes won't be in line with the ACO regulations.

Given what worked from 2006-08 I suspect they'll give performance breaks to the P2s
The LMP Challenge class is effectvly a spec version of the 2011 P2 rules, could be a good way to manage the transition to the new rules for the ALMS.
