But who do you invite to the PQ's? Neither of the two teams you mention competed a full season last year and some of the race performaces where not that impressive, spa 04 springs to mind for the TVR, therefore it is likey both would need to have been invited to the PQ's.
Not all the grid is by invite, a high percentage got an entry by
winning a race last year.
But we are going over old old ground.
The worst race in recent years has to be 2001.
