But why wouldn't Lieb, Bergmeister, Lietz etc get a chance in the LMP1s?
They've been fantastic servants for Porsche over many years.
I'd give them a chance, certainly in 2014, a 'learning' year no doubt.
Bergmeister is the one of the best Porsche has in a GT car, but I'm pretty sure he's a little tall for a Prototype. This way, at least the GT Porsche teams won't get left without any of the best drivers.
