All the Porsche drivers have been at the Porsche Accademy, have been trained on all kind of cars used by Porsche in the various classes (GT and LMP). So, I'm sure Lieb, Lietz, Pilet & Co. are not fasting of LMP driving experience. I think they may be involved in the developement of the car, to be joined by 1 or 2 specialists Porsche will bring to its works team.
It all depends by the number of cars Porsche will run (2 or 3 in Le Mans, 2 in WEC). For sure, the most (if not ALL) the drivers would give an eye (or the right hand), to be at the wheel of a Porsche in Le Mans, as well in the WEC.
