I fully appreciate that Donnington will get the fence treatment. But Silverstone is dull and flat. Atleast at Donnington you'll be able to see the odd tree, and a little rise or two.

At Silverstone, there's no out and out decent ovetaking opportunity till Club.

As for history? Does Donnington hosting the first British GP in 1938 count for something?
