I'll try to put together a cheat sheet over the next week or so,
But in the mean time, Sign On is in the back of a restaurant in Stavelot village on Thursday night If you have a guest you need to ask for a guest ticket (you don't get them automatically, but they usually ask if you need one) The main language spoken in the area if French If you are camping the camp site is on a steep wooded hill, there are electric hookups, it is flatter at the top and very bottom but these areas get filled early. There is a bowser of drinking water at the top, although I usually take bottled. The showers are above the police station in the outer paddock car park. Plan to leave on Monday if you can, all traffic is diverted miles out of the way after the race on Sunday, every time you want to turn left you get forced to turn right. |

http://www.marshalsguide.com/index.php/Spa The guide's not had a lot of input considering the wealth of experience some people have. It seems some guard their foreign contacts quite jealously. Last edited by Bodysnatcher; 13 Aug 2015 at 16:02. Reason: spalling |

I'm glad you were kind enough to share your foreign contacts when I wanted to do Le Mans, without your help it would have probably never happened. Thank you for that, the help is/was greatly appreciated!

Never done the GP but did elms back in 2003
Simply put its one of the most stunning circuits on the planet! If you get chance walk around it and head to the bottom of Eau Rouge....you have no comprehension of how steep it is...it's like hitting a brick wall at 100mph plus! If you need food there's a lidl just off the track at stavelot and a. Cracking restaurant at the old stavelot corner in the village....oh and try to drive the old part of the circuit,...can't miss it, the kerbs are still painted. It was really eary marshalling at the new stavelot corner, where the old circuit joins the new......a lot of the old stuff is there so when it's wet and the spray is hanging in the trees you can imagine the old 1960s f1 cars flying through there....so much atmosphere in such a small space.....you will love it! |
