Who most deserves a F1 seat next year?
In 2002 , as in almost every year we will see some new drivers appearing in F1 having graduated from F3000 and other series. But who most deserves an F1 seat next year? I think Tomas Shekter does as he has put in alot of work for Jaguar which has gone unnoticed just like his brilliant talent!

MARK WEBBER due to the reason that he has shown that not only he can bounce back after misfortune (latest round & that merc flip) but he has outpaced both FISSY & BUTTON when ever all three have been testing together . he is shown to be a truly complete driver

I also voted for Webber. Unfortunately the fact that he 'deserves' the drive does not automatically result in sponsorship backing (Aussie corporations are too busy pouring money into V8 supercars).

I mis the name of Bas Leinders!!!
If he can continue the ride like the past two races he deserve a place among the greatest drivers on earth. |

Felipe Massa!!!!
This fellow is incredible. From what I have read about his races in Euro F3000, he is a star of a future. Other than him, I reckon James Courtney, mainly because he is an Aussie, just like me! |

I voted for Enge. Although I think Webber most deserves the chance, I am intriguesd by the prospect of a driver from a country that does not have a history of representation in the sport.

I voted for Saelens but then I decided that I should have voted 'other' for Darren Manning, Stephane Sarrazin and Luca Badoer.

I voted for other, because I don't think they come more deserving of an F1 drive than 'Squishy' McNish. I know he's sort of got one now, but I won't believe it till its officially announced.

How many Aussies have voted for Mark Webber!?
Well, here's another one! Mark definitely deserves a shot at f1. He is very quick, and as nice a guy as anyone in motor racing. Give him a go. Us Aussies have been dying for someone to get into f1. Someone give him some money. PS. eero, for a nation of such a small population a million miles away from Europe (the centre of f1) we're pretty proud of our efforts. What about Angry Alan Jones, and Jack Brabham (the only man that has or will ever win the world championship in a car he built). Not to mention about a thousand other guys who had the talent to make it but not the money. However it is definitely past time that we had another guy in there. |
