When your own dad publicly questions your place in motor racing, you might want to consider an alternative career.

If it's any consolation, Jan Magnussen was already a Dad when he won the British F3 title in '94.

Virtually, all of Nelson Piquet's five male sons are racing or seems to be destined to race at least on kart levels of motorsport. Nelsinho is in F1, Geraldo is in the Brazilian F. Truck, meanwhile Laszlo races at least occasionally on karts. The youngest of the breed who is racing is Pedro, who has successfully entered in the junior kart tournaments of Brazil, and the benjamin is too young to though about motosport... but surely will have his time to do so.

Natacha Gachnang (3rd Spanish F3 2008 and 2009 F2 driver) is the cousin of Sebastien Buemi, soon to be announced Toro Rosso F1 driver.

Rossi Worswick (UK Formula Renault) is the son of Tony Worswick who raced a Jordan F1 car to 3 EuroBoss titles. (Not exactly 'F1' but ah well!)

Natacha Gachnang is also related - grand-daughter/niece? - to the Gachnang brothers who built an F1 car called the Cegga (Claude Et Georges Gachnang Automobiles) in the early 60s. A DNQ at Pau was its sole race appearance but it went on to a hillclimbing career. They also did some of their own bodies for Ferrari sportscars.

Check this wikipedia article for a more complete list...

I know of at least Max Verstappen, who is winning every race he starts in in
the belgian & dutch mini-max & cadet karting championships, but is not
allowed to move up to KF3 because of his age.

Heard about Cristiano Piquet, cousin of Piquet's sons, was doing Proto. programmes in US, think he stopped racing some time ago.
