Yeah, saw van der Drift started from pole (top 15 within a second) & he really did dominate the race - hopefully the racing becomes closer...
Should be an interesting season - looking forward to it I'm going to keep a close watch on Josef Kral, was impressed with him in British Formula BMW last year... |

Good for Chris. I hope he dominates thus year as he really ought to be in WSR or GP2, he's a really good driver.
These results seem to suggest Andersen and Ammemuller ought to be his closest challenges overall. Is there anyone who's not done as well as people thought yet? Nunez and Kral seem to be quite highly rated, yet haven't figured in Spain. |

Kral did OK I think, especially as he is making a pretty substantial step up from FBMW. Give him time and I'm sure he'll flourish.
I expect van der Drift to pretty much dominate this year, with Ammermuller and Schlegelmilch, maybe Leimer (judging by his pace in testing), Andersen and Salaquarda, as his closest challengers. Should be a good year though |

Josef Kral on the last row - Chris van der Drift must have a great car set up because he is blindingly faster than the rest of the field....

good to mention that the field has been splitted in 2 Groups for the Qualifying
Van der drift leader of Group 1 and Afanasiev leader of Group 2 Definitly JD Motorsport has a good car with all 3 drivers on top rows |

VDD, is combining latent talent with good set up. Pau is one of those places where talent and good performances really stand out. Let's see what he does in the races.
Overall I still think this guy's going to go far..... |

a bit silly yes... even more if you consider he will start from the back of the field in race 2, he ruined his race week end i guess unless he does a great race tomorrow and finish in top 5
