WRC 2009 !!!!!!!!!
It has begun.
Im so glad the WRC is back on the go.Mad conditions on the first day to mix it up lots of rain and standing water. A few surprises in terms of drivers leading the rally, Latvala, Aava and Loeb in that order.Naill McShea got his S2000 Proton to 3rd at the end of stage 1. Loeb quickly gained back the lead, after making a wrong tyre choice for stage 1, hes now got a very big lead of 44.4 seconds.I don`t think there is anyone who can touch this man on asphalt. Chris Atkinson had a huge moment on the last stage on a 5th gear right hander, looks like he was shifting from 6th to 5th gear and just locked the rear and ended up sideways going far to fast, co-driver got a knock too.I`m really surprised that car can still drive. I miss those irish roads, it looks fun from some of the on board . |

Atkinson stopped at the end of stage 6 to change wheel and pull the bumper off. The car wasn't too bad and co-driver was ok. I'd put pics up but that task is beyond me.

I saw the onboard of Atkinson and it looked like an odd accident. He very lucky to continue on. How odd does his car look with no sponsorship..
