Have just read on Tom Kristensens homepage that the Lamborghini team has withdraw from the Monza GT race due to engine problems. They will wait until the 2004 season to race the Lamborghini Murcielago... And I have looked foreward to see Kristensen race again :-(

Yes, I was seeking the track on Eurosport this morning to spot the Murciellago : none.
Can't wait 'till 1000 kms to see the thing... Waiting for that moment, the car is here... not very nice in that carbon black livery, hope they'll do an effort... Last edited by Fab; 19 Oct 2003 at 07:58. |

I think the Force One people need psychiatric treatment after this dramatic season. For Hezemans/Kumpen the drama isn't over, they use the Pagani next year......

god those poor force one/carsport guys. they haven't finished a race all year despite being on the pace. that must be such a heartbreaker. and on top of that their american counterpart team Carsport America didn't finish the Petit lemans last night, nor did they finish sebring, lemans, miami, sears point, nor did they start the chevy grand prix at road atlanta in june or trios rivieres. the only races they finished were mosport, laguna seca, and road america. but i also have to point out that at road america they entered 2 cars but one crashed out in teh morning warm up and didn't even start. so overall it was a terrible year for both Carsport Teams

I hope a better 2004 year for them, I think they deserve at least a good result for their ability in driving fast on one lap/at the start of the race... Last edited by Fab; 20 Oct 2003 at 05:23. |

Given the trouble they seem to have in making a Viper last the distance (plus the bad luck that they seem to attract...) then I'd have thought the Zonda would be the last car they'd want to run- on it's limited appearances so far,it's not exactly a stranger to mechanical failure.....

yeah u have a point KA but this time they will have a few months on the off season to develop it more and not rush so much to get it ready. before sebring they were rushing to get the car ready for sebring and lemans and didn't have time for proper testing. look at sebring, they didn't have a race engine till 2 days before the race and only installed it the night before hte sebring race began. so after lemans they've just been testing and found several cooling problems for the engine and tranny, not to mention they swtiched from a 6 liter V12 to a 7 liter V12 so hopefully they will be more prepared when next year starts. i do believe they still plan on running at Sebring and Lemans with the car as well as the full FIA GT championship. so i wish them good luck and to try and forget this horrible and depressing year they had.

For those who are interrested, here are some close up of the new Ferarri 575, on the Jérôme mugnieres site, and thanks to Laurent Mercier who took the pics.
