Patrick B should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Looking for classic sportscar art.

Im trying to find some large high quality art of classic or modern sportscars in action. Perferably in black & white and large, maybe 2'X 3' minimum. Lemans, Daytona, MM, Sebring, Targa Floria etc. 1960's- present.

Any suggestions welcome.

There's an artist in Ohio that I really like. His name is Steven Petrosky. You can find him at www.driversroad.com The stuff I've seen (and bought) are watercolors at Sebring, LeMans. I don't know if he does b&w, but he's worth checking out.

I guess with copyright issues to mbe concerned about, someone ought to ask what you have in mind for the pics when you get your hands on them?

[I shouldn't worry too much, Ayse - he's asking for large which to my mind means wall covering.

Fogelhund listed the best black and white archive I've seen, Pat, but check www.experiencelemans.com for various LM things including some reproduction posters (colour stuff mostly, though). I've got the '23 and '61 posters myself, and am still in the market for the 1959 one.

Also, http://www.racingpilot.com/ is affiliated with Burt Levy and has some good stuff.

Finally, don't forget allposters.com, as they have a few decent racing posters (Geo Ham and the like).

Vic Elford has a lot of stuff relating to his career. http://www.vicelford.com/

The doc's right, too, there are lots of photos and memorabilia available on ebay.

edited to correct the link for the '23 poster

I check with Robin and he said shoot him an e-mail...he has an extensive archive of all kinds and can make to suit

Can you tell them that I can print up to 36" x 60", but not on photographic gloss but museum quality paper, ideal for framing. They can contact me for a specific car/driver combo availability, and a quote!!!!!!!!!
