pforrester should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Have we underestimated RBR?

Less than ten minutes to go in Saturday proactice and both DC and Klien are running well. Have they been written off too soon?

And JV P6! It's clearly too close to call right through the field.

Better session for Toyota.

Barichello's lack of pace is mystifying me a bit.

Anyway, to get back to the original point, it would seem RBR are certainly somewhere on a par with Williams and BMW behind last year's top 5 teams.

I dont believe that people are doubting the overall pace of the RB2,but the actual reliability, seeing as they haven't covered a full race distance during testing.

From what I've read, the reliability issue was much worse early in pre-season, but they still haven't done a complete simualted race distance, so there must still be concern. On the basis of waht we've seen so far including qualifying, they are probably on a par with Toyota as well, with BMW perhaps the slowest of the next 4.

Given their qualifying positions (8th and 13th) I wonder if a fuel strategy is in place. Maybe DC going w hard compound tires and a 2 stopper ?
