klien out fuel pressure failure kimi up few places strategy will surely dictate the race - for sake of a spectacle hopefully alonso will pit soon! |

Twixt lap 2 & 14 the only pass was Montiero by Albers for P17 or 18.
The McLarens (in P2 and P3 are now lapping .5 to 1.0 sec faster than Alonso. And Montoya pits. |

Lap 29, everyone's pitted once, Alonso leads Raikkonen by 29sec, 3sec to Montoya, 1sec to M Schumie, 17 sec to Trulli, 3sec to Barriech.

Lap 35 Raikkonen still going .3 to .4 sec faster per lap than Alonso, but 30 sec behind.
Webber's apparently having trouble with the heat. Commentary says he's stopped, though he's still turning in times. |

Lap 39, Alonso does 1:16.9, McLarens and Coulthard lap 17.7ish, everyone else lapping in the 18s or higher.

Lap 44, Alonso's pit stop on lap 41 cut his lead in half. Alonso 14 sec over Raikkonen, 18 sec to Montoya, 11 sec to M Schumie, 8 sec to Trulli.
