Parker ENZED NZV8 Championship
We're back.Yippeee.OK who has news.Next season Manuell to where?? Mark Pedersen outfit is for sale and I imagine there will be some disillusioned people after last season. It appears TKR also gone and with Adam Brooke now caught up in head gate and with a final drive with TKR his future I assume is uncertain. Most importantly OTR is no more so where will Keen get fuelled up on race day. GT Radial guys look pretty social and whenever I see them trackside they display the athletic physique required to do a long season of motorsport. Might have to buy some for the Suzie and see if an invite is forthcoming(wonder if they make 20'' s).

Well done Kayne good to see the the sensible sentancing trust is hard at work and have reinstated Kayne to his rightful place. Good on you MSNZ for realising one of YOUR: officials stuffed up. Lets make sure the same type of mistake is not made again, Will now be very interesting to see if the Tracer/Pedersen headgate incident can also go through the sensible sentancing trust in the courts in the very near future. Will be awaiting that one with anticipation.!!!!! |

[QUOTE=fat boy]Have just recieved a text that if the Tracer court action is successful Johnny mac will win the 2006 title. So I assume the results are still provisional ????
Nothing provisional about this result. #99 is the champ. |

I`m gutted!! Not only has the wrong guy taken what could possibly be the last NZV8 championship they didn`t take up my suggestion of a top 10 shootout to pick a winner!!

Awesome result, 99 the champ…I hope fogg didn’t get the cup engraved !!. Just to show that consistency will win this class and maybe after this season disaster the ruling body will be able to get the rules in place with the right personnel to make 2007 a wicked season for everyone. Well done Kayne, Fujitsu, Karcher MPM and all their sponsors…maybe Caltex will run a new radio add ?????

I do not understand about the Tracer court case?
Thought that both Tracer and Scott now had their cases heard right up to MSNZ Court of Appeal so would have through that was the end of this sorry situation what it does show is that there are rules, they are policed, people have the ability and process to question any policing, this occurred and now we have a result for the championship I agree that it could be that there are some holes in the regulations but these are only found by policing and testing them through a judicial process - it might be a bit unpleasant for those involved but from the situations we will be able to develop more robust rules and understandings Actually felt that the whole situation - headgate and testing - was handled pretty well apart from the attempts by a couple of people to have the issue heard in the media rather than by those charged with making the decisions and felt that the media really do have something to learn regarding our processes |

ps. MSNZ does have its judical system, flawed or not. Fortunately in NZ there are other options available for the right of recourse beyond the MSNZ system. |
