I don't mind it, in fact may even like it. The smeary look to the lines is quite good, and it's not as messy and over-glamorous as a few of Vettel's.

Too true. An awful helmet, used permanently, is better than great helmets changed every race.

Although Vettel manages the spectacular feat of having a different crap helmet every week.

This actual design is closer to Nico's really. The visor is the big differentiator.

Just seen a short vid on the BBC F1 site showing Nico and Lewis sat on the car and Nico was holding a helmet that to me looked to be grey and pink(i could be wrong it could be Salmon ! )

I like the helmet, personally... nice melange of colors. But what I don't like, which is reflected in almost everyone's comments on here, is how F1 drivers seem to change their helmets every race. How many helmets has Vettel had? Over 20?

Monaco always throws up the funky helmets, more bad than good unfortunately. My favourite was when Rubens Barrichello and Tony Kanaan swapped helmets for the Indy 500 and Monaco GP a few years ago.

It is ridiculous, golden boy Vettel is allowed soft-core porn on his helmet, but Kimi is ordered to remove a tribute to a great champion. Maybe Limit should come out in qualifying with a big f you on top of his helmet.

We can only hope...

I know this is a bit overkill, but this probably upsets the women in motorsports. The helmet's screaming "women should be admired for their body only".

It's just not classy - but I agree, Vettel can get away with murder in the F1 world.

EDIT: I wouldn't be angry about this but that is just a blatant insult to Kimi and James Hunt. The fact that he can't wear a tribute helmet while Vettel can wear this is just outrageous.
