The Honda Type R has already been homologated as a SP car. HOWEVER, I hope the new organizers will require an entry to be SP homologated AND a FOUR door sedan.
I don't want the BTCC going back to old days of mixing sedans/coupes together. That would be a real waste.

Yeah, forgot about the details, an Integra Type R will race in the BTCC, but at the class B level. Hopefully, BMP will not move to allow Integras to race next year in the top BTCC class whatever it may be.

A couple of Type R's are proving very competitive in GT-P Class B (formerly Class S) here in Oz.

The Integra Type-R is available as a 4 door sedan. A super touring version of that would look damn kool!

sadly, I don't know of a single 4 door Type R being raced anywhere in the world. It's always the coupe. It seems Honda would rather push the Type R Accord rather than Integra Type R sedan.
