I have voted YES!
Last years "Issues" were.....last year!
I'm prepared to give the organisers the benefit of making things better this year.
Therefore, I look forward to marshalling these series' as normal.

I would also imagine that the vast majority of regular Oulton Marshals will feel the same.....it's just another weekend after all!!

We're not doing it - we're doing BSB at Rockingham that weekend, a decision which was made before we knew BRSCC would be organising F3/GT.

I voted Yes as well. I never did the F3/GT at Oulton last year because I was up at Croft but from what I can gather it was a one off and I'm sure the organisers have learnt from it.

Everyone can make a mistake and I feel its only fair to give them a second chance.

Haven't sorted my dates yet, so it's a not sure. I wouldn't rule it out, I'm planning a few more days at Oulton this year, and I'd normally do F3/GT at Donington but I'm not intending to go there this year. However bad the timetable might have been at Oulton last year, at least it's got a curfew.

I'm afraid it's a big, fat 'yes', too! I just can't resist F3s!

As Mark says, last year is last year. I'm quite prepared for another shambolic weekend, but hey ho!

I too am saying yes after having a front row seat with the incident last year. Lets hope the organisers/ dricers do a better job this year. The other reason I am saying yes is it is more fun than Toca

Ok so they weren't!

Apparently, the team from the BRSCC North West were asked by the "Organisers" to supply the marshals.......and they also sent out the instructions/passes etc, so it might have appeared that they were actually in charge!

From what I've learned, the BRSCC nw took a lot of flak from marshals and other officials - most of it without substance.

I'm confident that the 2004 visit of the F3's & GT's plus support will be 100% better than last season.
Having read an article from the BRSCC NW Chairman, I'm happy that the welfare of the marshals will be a priority.

I hope that those of you who voted "NO" on this thread might reconsider and treat the meeting as just another fun racing weekend at the best track in the country!
(Waiting for the Southerners to bite!! )

Mark

The problem with this poll is that those voting 'No', might not live anywhere near OP, or be expected to go anyway...
