Certainly will be.

Has anyone got a time table/programme so we know what time it all kicks off?

I'll give Mallory a buzz tomorrow and post up what they say...unless anyone here knows what's what?

Any Top Hat boys around this evening that can help....?

There's a programme at:

http://www.tophatracing.co.uk/index2.html

It doesn't give times, but I would expect normal Mallory timings - practice from 9:30AM, racing from around 1PM.

Ooh, 3000 posts - congratulations! I feel slightly inadequate....

Perhaps I can built up to, ooh, 50 by congratulating people!!

Hopefully the turn out will be ok, taking the usual Spa massacre into account (oh and the dire weather we are having)!

kipper should be qualifying in the top 10 on the gridkipper should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
The timetable I received with my marshalling instructions:

Practice:
Groovy Baby 15 mins
Cloth Cap 25 mins
Best of British 15 mins
Top Hat 25 mins
Oldies but Goldies 25 mins
Allcomers 15 mins

Lunch 35 mins

Races
Groovy Baby 30 mins
Cloth Cap 45 mins
Best of British 30 mins
Top Hat 45 mins
Oldies but Goldies 45 mins
Allcomers 30 mins

The meeting will be run to the 'racing ahead' format, which I believe means that each session will start as soon as possible after the preeceding one. Hence no times are issued for any session apart from the first practice session, which will begin at 9.30

Yeah, really good day. Lucky with the weather or what - my face is red!

Never been to Mallory before - what a cracking little circuit? Comes complete with lovely little old lady clearing the plates up in the caf with her slippers on, bless her.

The Morgan was a real mess, which was a shame. How did that happen - caught a tyre on the grass and whipped over to the opposite barrier or something?

I'm sure it'll be a very good meeting, just too soon after SPa for us, and the cars due an engine refresh.

on a lighter note, all the loons will be mending their cars after Spa so it should be a trouble free event as well

As I thought!

Still, as long as plenty of the non-loons whose cars are still in one piece come along it'll be grand. Never been to Mallory so looking forward to it.
