Christian Mogami has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
ARX-04b update

ESM has bought two but might only race one in TUSCC with the other race WEC.(wild card....Rahal and ESM might become one team in Indy and WEC)

Andretti bought one and the other is pending and they haven't decided if they will race TUSCC or WEC.

SPM bought one and will race TUSCC.

Of the two ARX that was going to a WEC team(Krohn changed is mind and bought a Ligier)and the other team is still a secret.

Yeah apparently they bought one. It would be silly of them not to run TUDOR. but i think the main motivator is all of these Indy teams are getting help from Honda because of their ties.

I have the feeling that the Indy teams will get the same treatment as any other team buying a chassis. But maybe already knowing hpd staff will just make the relationship easier.

The first part just broke with ESM stating they are splitting their cars at Cota.
They are getting their feet wet before they go WEC full time next year.

Please don't cry when it happens!

1)At the moment the plan is one in TUSCC and one in WEC next year.

2)If they have to much fun at WEC Cota then it will be two in WEC next year because with having two owner drivers they will have a better chance to win!
(longer races and equal cars)

3)A P2 can't win the Championship in TUSCC or have a chance win more than a very few races.

I'm not crying. If it happens, it happens. I see that you cannot produce where they have stated any of this, so... .

Just giving you an insider warning but I guess your one of those people who just wants a shotgun wedding!

ESM has been warning IMSA all season long that they will leave.ESM really doesn't want to race outside of America but because of BOP and being a Pro-Driver series they will have to to go to WEC to be able to compete.

Not even slightly. For a start, Sharp is a Platinum rating as a result of his Indycar experience so needs to race a alongside an 'am' in a Pro-Am class. Secondly, there is some suggestion that the driver rankings will be dropped from WEC P2 next year, which would invalidate that completely. I would agree with you in the case of Ed Brown, who would be ideally suited to a Pro-Am class, but he's the one of the two who's been on a top step of a podium this year!

A P2 can win the championship in TUSC and go for overall race wins. One could suggest that if Oak hadn't been involved in the accident at Laguna they'd be right in the hunt near the top of the standings.

There is so much dis-information, (not mis-information), in this thread that it is mind boggling.

Conjecture, rumor and fantasy meet gullible.

It's probably bad forum etiquette to quote yourself but it bears repeating.

It makes no sense for Patron to want to race in an international series full time, where you cannot buy their product in most of the countries on the schedule, and there is no U.S. tv coverage. Are they even allowed to have their name on the car at Le Mans?

That is the major reason why they didn't do WEC this year and did TUSCC!

But after this year you ask yourself is it worth it to race TUSCC?

I think if Brown/Sharp still drives the ARX-04B next year, they will be in WEC but if they doesn't then both cars will be in TUSCC with all pro drivers..

I would like to see them both move down to a GTD.

This post does not make any sense if you know anything about ESM and Patron. If they do anything next year, I would guess they run some ELMS races since the top class will still be Pro/Am.

Sorry they are not even dreaming about ELMS.

But they are dreaming about two WEC races in America!
