Who was the last Italian to win the Italian GP?

At a guess it might me Scarfiotti some time in the 1960's

Although Andretti's win might count as from Italian family.

But yes it is Scarfiotti but what year?

It must be 1966 I think...and was Mike Parkes second for a Ferrari one-two? Or am I getting muddled?
For most Ferrari fans Clay Regazzoni was an honorary Italian, Swiss or not, and when he won in 1970 the crowd went really wild. There are some brilliant photos of him after the race, swamped by the crowd on the main straight, being carried shoulder-high. He survived but I'm not sure about the car!

Sure it was Scarfiotti winning from Parkes in the Ferraris in 1966. The Scuderia was lucky to win the race due to the facts that their opponents were stopped by several mechanical troubles; Hill,Stewart, Gurney, Ginther, Brabham and above all Surtees, who challenged the Ferraris for 31 laps, went all out before half distance. Actually Surtees' retirement during lap 32 brought the championship to Jack Brabham.
