BMW E30 325I - tips on racing one.

Hi guys, we have got ourselves a BMW 325i E30 to race in the CTCRC Pre93 Championship. i would just like to know any inside tips on how to get it going well without spending stupid amounts. Also help with suit, helmet selections would not go amiss. Thanks in advance..

Andy Johnson at SVG Motorsport could well offer good advice, having built and run other BMW race cars, if you are a member of the Classic Touring Club, you will find his contact details. Or try the SVG website. Look on this site for a thread 'were going racing' good info regarding suits, helmets etc.

as far as race suits go, AWS are the most competative in my opinion, if you go to a race show where they are attending, they are very helpfull and often have 'show discounts', also very pleasant people to deal with.
