Belgium ERC (annoyingly also on the 8th of August)
Hello,
Just thought that I would share this, provisional, list, as it contains an entry for the first ever VW Scirocco in RX (presumably) - http://www.duivelsbergcircuit.be/inschrijvingek2010.htm - cannot wait to see what that looks like!! Oh and there's some guy called Duval there and a yank called Foust
Hoping for a few more names (like Procter) but looking good so far.

Jaap Smid and Jan Lammers, in the early 1980s in Holland with VW Scirocco Mk1 and Mk2, prepared by VW Bongers.

Thanks, that's good news! Though shame that Foust has been struck off the list on rallycross.com

Scheveneels won't be driving either according to his site
Better news is that the Division 3 cars will drive a support race!

No surprise! VW Scirocco Mk3 is not homologated for Group A and is not yet on the list of 'not homologated with FIA but eligible for D1, D1A and D2' cars…

I think it is more a case of car not driveable, rather then homologation issues...

So, in case it would be driveable, do you think it would pass scrutineering without being eligible for int. RX…?

I think the FIA eligible list can be updated quite fast, like they did for the Mitsubishi Colt of Ivo Vandenbrandt, or the Fiesta mk7 (was also added on very short notice before the Lydden ERC race, last year...)

If it’s not homologated or eligible, why enter???
By the way, how do you get a car on the list of eligible cars? Must the factory apply or can anyone apply for it?

Not quite true! The updated 'eligible list' was published by 05-05-2009 while Lydden was on April 12 and 13 and Montalegre on May 2 and 3… So I guess the Fiesta Mk7 did two 2009 ERC rounds under a FIA waiver.

OK, I get it! It’s the SBF who make ALL cars eligible for rallycross
