[Stats]Laps per position
Stats about the positions every driver has had so far along the 227 laps of these 4 GPs.

WC: World Championship current ranking. Those numbers are calculated with the completed laps of each driver. So retirement is not penalized, thus it is not a "consistency" table, it is rather a "performance" table. It is especially apparent in Grosjean's case. |

Some anecdotal facts:
(I hope there are not many errors while compiling the above tables and these "factoids") Maldonado is the most unfortunate driver with 3 retirements in 4 races: one accident (but he was classified), one engine problem and a random puncture. Every category of retirement! Four other drivers have retired in two races: Pic, Senna, Schumacher and Grosjean. Eleven out of 24 drivers have retired in some race, so 13 drivers have completed all the races. In terms of race incident, the most unstable driver has been Grosjean (one self accident and one collision). Maldonado has spun once, and Senna, Massa, and Hulkenberg has been involved in one collision. The remain 19 drivers have not had any incident in any race(!). Out of 17 retirements, 9 were mechanical, 6 were race incidents and 2 "random" events (puncture for Maldonado and bad pit stop for Schumacher). Out of the 9 mechanical retirements, 3 were engine problems (and one gearbox problem). There are three teams without any retirement (in these 8 car-races): Red Bull, Toro Rosso and... Hispania! Ironically, Hispania is the team with less completed laps, purely due to its slowness. The only team with 100% of laps is Red Bull (ominous thought). Very clearly, the team with most retirements by a large margin is Williams, with 5 out of 8 retirements: 2 engine problems, 2 race incidents and one random puncture. The next unfortunate teams have only two retirements out of 8. In terms of engines. There were few troubles: 2 out of 16 for Cosworth is the worst case. Renault is the only other with some engine problem, just 1 out of 32 car-races (4 teams x 2 cars x 4 races). Mercedes and Ferrari are blessed with 0 problems out of 24 car-races. |

That is more interesting this year than it would be previous years as the spoils hav been shared.
Can you make TGF MSC rather than SCH? Like the timing screen. Tell he to go away and that you can't be bothered if you like |

Grojean is interesting, barring his retirements which have led to the least completed laps out of anyone, hes been right on the money pace wise. hopefully he will continue his run of good form, hes impressed me alot, makes a change to see someone grinning constantly in F1!

Perhaps "TGF" could be even better as an acronym for Michael . I suppose MSC is a remain of the season when Ralf was still there, and they had to differentiate those two SCHs. I use a little script to take the first three letters of the surname, but I have to fix some irregular names anyway, so I will "fix" this one as well

It was a few races in to TGF's return before I twigged they were still using the old MSC from the days that his brother was there. If they used TGF on the official feed it would make me so happy, especially if it was at a race he won. GRO, ALO and VET are the most impressive for me. VET, because without thinking about it I wouldn't have guessed he was top. GRO because it demonstrates how well this practical rookie has done. And ALO because his car has no right to be there. |

Very interesting.
I think Grosjean looks to be the 'biz', but only if he can keep it on the black stuff for long enough. |

You are absolutely right. HRC didn't started in AUS, so that 72% is misleading, even if it is firmally true. And it changes a bit the stat for Cosworth.. I'll try to take it into account next time. Thanks for raising this aspect.
