Me too.

My solution was to get Radio LM on my phone via T'Interweb, and get myself under the Porker. If anything exciting happens, rush inside to watch the ad nauseum replays on Eurosport!

Having been to a wedding fayre(!) returned just in time to see the winners cross the line. Wondering how Roger faired I tried the official website for results - waste of time that was - all it could tell me was who won.

What a lovely fathers day I had, drilling holes to put up fly catchers, started to cook myself a nice fryup when the youngest arrived with her 22 month old little boy, then eldest arrived with her 15 and 13 year olds, 'Any breakfst going Dad' by 2 o'clock was looking forward to a nice quiet cup of tea(No Larkings in the house) and a sleep.
I have put my foot down and am doing a trackevening ay Brands on Wednesday, I think.

Mrs M also recently acquired a few chickens. If you think racing is expensive you should try growing your own eggs. At the moment they work out about £25 each, but as the capital cost is written down this should improve.

I pointed out that on the list of must haves for every respectable poultry farmer a Cobra comes near the top. I'm sure she had a sense of humour when I married her.....

I couldn't agree more, far cheaper to buy them in the supermarket after feeding them and setting up the electric fence to keep the foxes out !
Of course people will always say that they taste better but IMHO they taste the same

Especially after 'unlimited champagne'

Going back to Le Mans for a moment, Have managed to find out that Roger W faired better in the historic Gp C race, finishing 2nd in the Martini Lancia LC2. Good to see someone taking it to the Mercs..... Very wet with several cars spinning in the chicane just before start, and a nasty accident in midfield when one car snapped left for no apparent reason on a straight. Luckily no serious injuries except to a couple of wallets.

I also got talked into moving a load of furniture today whilst this was going on for a famous drummer that lives up the road.
Race boxes are excellent as well as keeping your car in !

I thought all the best drummers stored things at the bottom of swimming pools?

our chickens are laying 1 each a day, and I had a double yoke again today, keep em well and, like cars, they perform well.

like cars . . .guitars . . .and plenty of other things, you'll only get what you invest!

Back in the 90's we ran Charlie Morgan who was Elton John's drummer at the time.Great guy,we got back stage passes at the NEC to see them before the concert. I thought it was going to be a wild party but we all sat around chating and drinking tea.
