Robert Morris has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Im intrested in your comments about these space frame cars.

For me i think Mary Grinhams is a mini space frame..
looks like a mini and has a mini gearbox.

These other cars like Bills and Harvey are special saloons.
Bills is a metro with a ford engine and vauxhall gear box, Harveys like you say is a radical with a mini plastic shell.

Perhaps next we will see is a dfv skoda with a mini badge where do you draw the line?

spaceframed minis have been about since 1976 when reg ward built his 1st car which he later sold to peter baldwin to race with ford BDA power .the rights to build these cars were sold to john maguire

for me any car built to maguire spec ie mini top arms in there original postion and mini type rear suspension is a "mini". the ultimate evolution of these is the car i now own built by KAD In 1996 for pete edwards .

the heavy death machine is in a different league

Different sort of event. At the end of the day it's the number of paying spectators that will make it a success. Let's hope it doesn't rain.

He's not the hang of retirement has he?

(seems to be a common fault with racing drivers!)

Sorry Rob, no I didn't. Perhaps some of the other regulars here might give some feedback.

Best of luck to Steve and yourself at Spa. I hate to think how much rain they must have had there. Hope you have a good set of wets!
